For you to be eligible to obtain a Higher Certificate in Nursing, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum statutory National Senior Certificate (NSC) requirements for entrance into higher education, higher certificate entry level must be met, or A recognised qualification deemed to be equivalent by the college senate and professional body.
- Language English at NSC achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) or above
- Mathematical literacy at NSC achievement rating of 3 (40 – 49%) or above
- Life Sciences at NSC achievement rating of 3 (40 – 49%) or above
- International applicants should have a South African Qualifications Authority equivalency certificate
- Recommendation: Completion of computer literacy course
For you to be eligible to obtain a Diploma in Nursing, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum statutory National Senior Certificate (NSC) requirements for entrance into higher education, diploma entry level must be met, or
- A recognised qualification deemed to be equivalent by the college senate and professional body
- Language English at NSC achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) or above
- Mathematical literacy at NSC achievement rating of 4 (50 – 59% or mathematics at 3 (40 – 49%) or above
- Life Sciences at NSC achievement rating of 4 (50 – 59%) or above
- International applicants should have a South African Qualifications Authority equivalency certificate
- Recommendation: Completion of computer literacy course
