North-West University (NWU) has just released its Calendar for the 2024 academic year and the calendar’s framework as a PDF document. The calendar was approved by the council on the 22nd of June 2023 and was released on the 3rd of December 2023. It is like a normal 12-month calendar but the important days for the following events have been marked out:

- University recess and commencement of classes
- 1st examination opportunity
- 2nd examination opportunity
- Distance learning examination
- Assessment
- Inter-campus sports day
- Interchanges of days
- University open and close
