Damelin College Admission Requirements 2025

Damelin College will soon begin its online applications and if you are a high school leaver or a matric student, you need to be familiar with the institute’s admission requirements. The management of this institute has released the admission requirements for entry into the 2024 academic session.
This article contains all the major courses available at Damelin College and their individual admission/application requirements. All prospective students need to meet these requirements for their applications to be accepted.

Damelin College Admission Requirement 2025

Bachelor of Public Management

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement, or
  • A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Degree endorsement, or
  • Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), with Degree endorsement, or
  • A Senior Certificate (SC), with University Exemption or Degree endorsement, or
  • Foreign School leaving Certificate that complies with minimum admission requirements for Degree study as gazetted by the Matriculation Board (The Matriculation Board will do equivalency evaluation)
  • A completed Higher Certificate may allow access to a cognate Bachelor’s degree should a student have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%.
  • Mature Age (45 years of age): conditions apply
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English at NQF level 4 or equivalent
  • Foreign applicants whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English before admission to the programme

Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Business Management (HEQSF Aligned)

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement, or
  • A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Degree endorsement, or
  • A Senior Certificate (SC), or Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), or
  • An equivalent international school-leaving certificate / foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or
  • Age Exemption (23 years or older):
    • At least five years of post-secondary school experience in the field in which the student wants to study and
    • Proof of English language proficiency and
    • Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • Mature age applicants, 45 years and older without a school leaving qualification, may apply for conditional exemption
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English at NQF level 4 or equivalent
  • Foreign Students whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English before admission to the programme

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (HEQSF Aligned)

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement, or
  • A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Degree endorsement, or
  • A Senior Certificate (SC), or Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), or
  • An equivalent international school-leaving certificate / foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or
  • Age Exemption (23 years or older):
    • At least five years of post-Secondary School experience in the field in which the student wants to study and
    • Proof of English language proficiency and
    • Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • Mature age applicants, 45 years and older without a school leaving qualification, may apply for conditional exemption
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English at NQF level 4 or equivalent

  • An equivalent international school-leaving certificate / foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or

    • Senior Certificate or equivalent
