Vutela or VUT Blackboard is a Learning management system created by the management of Vaal University of Technology (VUT) which enables students of the institution to perform certain academic tasks like submitting assignments, accessing study materials, receiving messages about courses, study materials, online communications tools, online assessments etc.

How to Login to Vutela/VUT Blackboard
- Visit the website vut.blackboard.com
- Under the “Login to VUTela” heading, click the dropdown menu
- Choose “VUT – Student Login”
- Enter your school email (ie. [email protected])
- Enter your password and click the “Sign in” button
How to Reset Your Password
In case you have forgotten the password for your Vutela login, don’t worry, you can always reset it by following these steps:
- Visit the website vut.blackboard.com
- Under the “Login to VUTela” heading, click the dropdown menu
- Choose “VUT – Student Login”
- Under the sign in button, click the “reset your password” link
- You will be redirected to the login assistant where your username will be requested from you. The user name should be in one of the following formats:
- VUTAD\username
- VUTV\studentNumber
- Follow the prompts given to you.
