The platform was created to enable employers or prospective employers to easily verify the registration status of their employees or prospective employees. This register is accessible by anyone with a device that can access the internet.

What do I Need to Use the SANC eRegister?
If you want to use this platform, make sure you have the following before proceeding to the website:
- You must have a device with an internet connection/ access to the internet, be it a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
- your device has a suitable browser, such as Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox etc. However, the council recommends Internet Explorer 10 because the system was tested using it.

What is SANC Number?
Every Nurse or Midwife registered with the South African Nursing Council has a unique number assigned to them. This number is used to identify anyone on the eRegister.
