TUT Application Opening and Closing Dates for  2025

Applications for entry into Tshwane University of Technology for the 2025 academic year opened on 1 March 2024 and will close on either 15 June 2024, 31 July 2024, or 30 September 2024 depending on the course you want to apply for. About TUT Application for 2025

The general application requirement for admission into Tshwane University of Technology is a passing mark in English at the Senior Certificate level (minimum additional language; certain programmes may require first or home language status)

All TUT applicants must submit an online application or a fully completed application form for 2025. You should include the following:

  • Recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year) copies of your original ID
  • A National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
  • An online application or administration fee of R240

  • An active cellphone number and email address

TUT Application Fee

The management of Tshwane University of Technology requires all applicants to pay a non-refundable fee of R240 for the application. The application fee should be deposited beforehand at ABSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 04 000 0003. In the Reference column, please fill in your identity number. Do not use this account number for any further payments. Make sure you make this payment ONLY when the applications are open and you want to apply.

How to Apply to Tshwane University of Technology for 2025

Follow the procedures below when you are ready to apply:

  1. Visit www.tut.ac.za
  2. Click ‘Apply Now’ in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Answer the questions correctly
  4. Accept the POPIA form and click ‘next’
  5. Fill in all the necessary info in full and click ‘next’
  6. Follow the prompt on the screen and upload the required documents
  7. The proof of your application form will be processed and sent to the admissions department for acceptance and verification.

After doing this, you just have to wait for your application to be processed. This would take up to three months after the applications has closed.
